Guy Quits Job Because of a Number

How can this paper not catch fire? It's obviously cursed and damned to hell.
Tennessee is full of people making wise, logic filled statements recently. There was the guy that thought not teaching children something was good, and now there's this guy. He said: "If you accept that number, you sell your soul to the devil."
Wait, what? If you accept that number? Number? As in digits? Surely there's more to this? Surely this man must not be terrified of a number giving the devil access to his soul?

This man, a 52 year old named Walter Slonopas, quit his job, twice, after the number 666 came up on some business forms. Well there we go, perfectly logical. Some people think we got over the fear of numbers back in the Renaissance, but obviously those idiots are wrong. Clearly, fearing a number is completely rational.
When this guy started working at Contech Casting LLC in April 2011, he was given the number 66 on his time stamp card thing, or whatever they're called now. He did the logical thing and complained to management, and they changed it. In July 2011 the company upgraded their system, and he was again given the number 666. He followed the written bylaws of sanity and quit. “God is worth more than money,” he said as he tried to but milk and bread for his family. For some reason, the clerk needed cash, check, or credit. "We don't take God here."

Okay, so I made that last bit up (the part with the clerk, the crazy guy's quote is real), but come on. Loving God is great if you're into that, but you also need to feed your family, with money.
A few days later they changed his number again, and then money was important again, because he took the job back.

Last week, he quit again. The number 666 appeared on his W-2 statement. He says he can't file his taxes now because of this. I would just hate to work for this company, which is obviously Satan's slave, working with Him to enslave all God fearing Americans.
Now he claims he won't go back because that would be choosing money over God, but that's totally not what he did in 2011, this is different, because it's 2013 now. (Oh God, 13, run everyone!)

The company says they're trying to fix the problem and hope he'll come back. This guy must be a really good "maintenance worker," seeing as the company keeps trying to get him back. (Seems to me like they should give the job to someone who will appreciate it and not quit every time a number shows up.)

Watch the guy on video and be in awe from his logical and intelligent explanations: This video may not play on some mobile devices.

Here's antoher case involving stupid people and the number 666:
In 2011, a factory worker from Georgia named Billy Hyatt sued his former employer after he was fired for refusing to wear a sticker with 666 on it. The sticker referred to the number of accident-free days he’d had on the job. "No, I can't celebrate saftey, the devil will get me!!!!"(Fake quote, by the way)

Seriously now, I understand why some people are religious, and sticking up for what you believe in is all great and dandy, but I just can't bring myself to have respect for anyone who goes to this much trouble over a number showing up on some papers.
Maybe tomorrow I'll decide to fear the number 9, because 9/11, duh. I'll refuse to do any homework with the number 9 on it, otherwise I'd be selling my soul to Al Qaeda.
Come to think of it, that might be a good idea. Maybe this guys smarter than we know, he'll probbaly be getting unemployment anyway...
